Only nine points currently separates third-placed Dungannon Swifts and Ballymena United in tenth heading into this weekend’s fixture schedule.
Here we look at who has been the best performer at each Premiership club throughout this season, based on the average ratings provided by Sofascore from every match of the campaign.
NOTE: All data and statistics provided by Sofascore.

5. Larne - Conor McKendry
It has been an up and down season for reigning champions Larne, who currently sit in fifth but enjoyed a magical European run in 2024. Summer signing McKendry is ranked as their top performer when it comes to average match ratings. He has made 23 league appearances and only Joel Cooper has made more successful dribbles in the Premiership. Photo: Andrew McCarroll/Pacemaker Press

6. Cliftonville - Joe Gormley
Only Coleraine's Matthew Shevlin (17) has scored more Premiership goals this season than Cliftonville legend Joe Gormley (16) and he also has the fourth-highest shot conversion percentage of players who have netted nine or more times. At 35, Gormley is still showing his prowess and will hope to fire the Reds into Europe. Photo: David Maginnis/Pacemaker Press

7. Portadown - Aaron McCarey
No goalkeeper has kept more Premiership clean sheets this season than Aaron McCarey (10), who has played a key role in Portadown's solid top-flight return. The former Glentoran shot-stopper has also made 97 saves, which puts him third on the list behind Nathan Gartside and Jonny Tuffey. It has been a superb campaign for McCarey. 8. Coleraine - Jamie Glackin
While Matthew Shevlin has scored 16 league goals, Sofascore rates Jamie Glackin as Coleraine's top performer and has him fifth across the entire league. He has scored six goals and provided four assists for the Bannsiders, which shows why Dean Shiels recently said Glackin's presence "makes us a better team" after returning in their win over Linfield.
