Transfermarkt calculates a player's market value using a qualitative approach and say the goal is to estimate the value of a player in a free market, not to predict a specific transfer fee.
While some of the numbers can be skewed or inflated to what you’d normally associate with an Irish League transfer fee, it’s still a good indication to who they feel are the star players at each club.
Using their market values system, here are who they view as the ‘most valuable player’ at all 12 Premiership clubs.

5. Larne - Andy Ryan
Andy Ryan, who won last season's Premiership Golden Boot, scored a hat-trick in Larne's qualifying play-off victory over Lincoln Red Imps as they created Irish League history to qualify for the UEFA Conference League. He has netted seven league goals in 18 appearances this term. Photo: Inpho/Stephen Hamilton

6. Cliftonville - Shea Kearney
In a previous list looking at the Irish League's most valuable players aged under 21, Shea Kearney came out on top and once again he features for Cliftonville. He has played virtually every minute when available for the Reds this season, racking up 23 Premiership appearances, and is set for another Windsor Park final date next month after helping Jim Magilton's side reach the BetMcLean Cup showpiece decider. 7. Portadown - Aaron McCarey
No goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets this season than Aaron McCarey (nine, joint with Daniel Gyollai) and he has been a key factor behind Portadown's fine return to top-flight football. McCarey has the highest average Sofascore match rating of any goalkeeper this term while only Nathan Gartside and Jonny Tuffey have made more saves. Photo: David Maginnis

8. Coleraine - Matthew Shevlin
Coleraine striker Matthew Shevlin sits joint-top of the Premiership goal charts alongside Joel Cooper and Joe Gormley with the trio all netting 16 times. The 26-year-old scored a late equaliser against Dungannon Swifts last month and also registered a hat-trick against the same opposition earlier this season. Photo: Andrew McCarroll/Pacemaker Press
