STORY OF THE MATCH: Glenavon 2 Carrick Rangers 3 - Big debut moment as 16-year-old scores Glenavon's last goal before relegation

Glenavon’s final game kicked off with relegation already confirmed but featured one bonus as 16-year-old Alfie Pollock marked his senior debut with a goal.

Pollock found the net after joining play off the bench to provide one happy talking point for the Lurgan Blues already set for second-tier football before kick-off.

It marked the final goal of the club’s 20-plus years run in top-flight football.

Paddy Burns’ penalty kick broke the deadlock before Carrick hit back off Adam Lecky, Jimmy Callacher and Danny Gibson.
