The Danske Bank Premiership leaders welcome the reigning champions to Inver Park with Lynch revealing these were the very games he spoke about when talking to potential signings about the club’s exciting project.

“It’s a game that we have to be looking forward to and a game that we have to embrace,” he told the club website.

“When we talked to all these players about coming to Larne these were the games we were selling them.

“I’m not looking at the table right now I’m looking at the clash. We have to go and grab these experiences with both hands and enjoy every minute of it,” he added.

“It is definitely set up for a big game, but we have to get all our work done during the week so we can set ourselves up to go and do the things we need to do and give a good account of ourselves.”

Linfield find themselves a point behind Larne in the table and boss David Healy is relishing the challenge.

“It will be a difficult task, Larne have been a credit to this season so far,” he said. “We look forward to the challenge and we will certainly meet it head on.

“Hopefully we will have one or two more players available again, if not we’ll go with what we have and fully trust and believe in the players we have to go down there and put on a good performance.”
