The Point, like all clubs in the Danske Bank Premiership, have been out of action since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

With the 2019/20 season now curtailed clubs do not know when they will be back in action again, and McGreevy tweeted that things are tough enough for clubs at present.

McGreevy tweeted: "Thank you to the @PSNINMDown and @nifrssouth for attending to Milltown in the early hours...Detectives are investigating the incident and a key witness has come forward. It’s tough enough for clubs like @thepointfc without this."
