Priority for purchasing tickets was given first to campaign card holders who expressed an interest in purchasing tickets for the clash on September 1.

An update on IrishFA.com reads: "A small number of tickets went on general sale and due to demand our initial allocation, which is just shy of 2000, has sold out."

The clash with San Marino is the first of two games for Michael O'Neill's men next month, with the Czech Republic the visitors to Windsor Park on September 4.
