The War Memorial on display inside the ground stands as a testament to the sacrifice by, in particular, four former Portadown players.

The plaque lists Private George McFadden (Canadian Infantry), Corporal William Robb (Royal Irish Fusiliers), Private James Lamb (Royal Irish Fusiliers) and Lance Corporal Richard Curry (Royal Irish Fusiliers).

Inscriptions read “To The Memory Of Our Glorious Dead” and “Their Name Liveth For Evermore”.
