Global agency Esportif International opens new office in South Africa

Esportif International is delighted to announce that it is launching a new office in South Africa which will significantly strengthen the company's global footprint in both the representation and management of top rugby players and coaches in one of the biggest markets in world rugby.

The agreement will establish a new company called Esportif International SA Ltd and will work closely with the other Esportif International offices throughout the rugby-playing world.

Esportif International SA will have six full time agents operating in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg and Bloemfontein and they will be managing Currie Cup, Super Rugby and Springbok players along with the future stars of the game. All of the agents are experienced operators accredited by SARU.

Esportif International SA will be a dynamic rugby management agency which specialises in the full service, marketing and contract management of professional rugby players and coaches both on and off the field.

Hilton Houghton the Director who will be heading up Esportif International SA, said: “Esportif International has firmly established itself as a major global player in rugby management representation and we are delighted and excited to be setting up a new business with them. Esportif International is a global company which specialises in the management of world-class rugby players and coaches and provides market intelligence to rugby clubs and governing bodies. It has over 40 full time employees working across 19 countries.

The company, whose Chairman is former Manchester United and Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon, represents top Ireland players including Rory Best, Josh van der Flier and Jacob Stockdale.
