Golf Ireland hails Beth Coulter after breakthrough professional success
Golf Ireland has extended its congratulations to Beth Coulter following her maiden professional victory at the LET Access Series Women’s Challenge at Malahide.
The Kirkistown golfer claimed the title in her first event as a professional, defeating Ayeon Yang in a play-off after a strong week that included rounds of 74, 67 and 70.

Coulter, who won the AIG Irish Women’s Amateur Close Championship in 2022, the championship which was claimed by Katie Poots in Enniscrone on Friday, enjoyed a distinguished amateur career representing Ireland and has made an immediate impact following her move into the professional ranks.
“It’s a fantastic achievement for Beth to win on her first professional start and we’re delighted to see her make such a positive start to her career,” said Golf Ireland CEO Mark Kennelly.
“Beth has been a tremendous ambassador for Irish golf throughout her amateur career and she’s earned this success through years of hard work and commitment.
“To get over the line in your first event as a professional says a lot about her character and belief. We congratulate Beth on a brilliant achievement and look forward to supporting her and following her progress in the years ahead.”
