The team consists of players from all four provinces.

They have been training every two weeks since before Christmas and are ready for what captain Maggie Hunter hopes is a successful campaign in Australia’s capital city Canberra.

There are teams from Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Wales in Ireland’s group. The Irish team is coached by Ben Epstein (Leinster) and managed by Gill Jackson (Ulster).

This Irish team has already had success at both Home Counties and European level and is hoping to bring home the silverware from Down Under.
