The Hills all-rounder is one of two changes to the squad, with Waringstown opener James McCollum the other addition – Chris Dougherty and Eddie Richardson are the players replaced.

“The selectors have taken into consideration performances against the MCC last week and ensured we keep looking at future talent with potential to play for Ireland,” said Head Coach John Bracewell.

“We did not consider Eddie Richardson due to fitness concerns for multi-day cricket, while Craig Young is currently sidelined with an elbow injury. John Anderson and Fintan McAllister are both unavailable due to work commitments, while none of the county-contracted players were available for release.”
