2026 Ulster road racing calendar confirmed with extra race added after dates officially ratified by Motor Cycle Union of Ireland

The calendar for the 2026 road racing season in Northern Ireland has been officially confirmed following ratification of the dates by the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre).

The Cookstown 100 will host the opening race between the hedges around the 2.1-mile Orritor course in April before the North West 200 takes centre stage, with race week running from May 4-9.

After the Isle of Man TT, the Tandragee 100 will be the main focus for Irish road racing’s regulars, with the event retaining its June date after making a successful return in 2025 following a three-year absence.

The Armoy ‘Race of Legends’ will be the penultimate round of the championship in 2026, with the returning Mid Antrim 150 in Clough hosting the finale from July 31 to August 1 as the race makes a welcome return for the first time since 2022.

In 2027, it is hoped the Ulster Grand Prix will further bolster the calendar, with a fresh effort underway to revive the race at the historic Dundrod course, where it was last held in 2019.
