Morgan will ride the Magic Bullet Yamaha R6 in the Supersport class and has a Superstock-spec Kawasaki ZX-10R backed by Bumblebee Barn, which will also run in the Magic Bullet colours.

He also plans to ride his own Honda Fireblade Superbike at selected meetings and is on the lookout for financial backing to enable him to run his RS250 Honda at the National road races plus the Ulster Grand Prix and potentially the Classic TT, budget depending.

Morgan will commence his season at the Mid Antrim 150 on April 2 followed by the Spring Cup meeting at Scarborough as he builds his year around his two favourite events: the Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.

“It’s a very different start to 2016 season with a re-shuffling of some of the events, which will make things very interesting,” Morgan said.

“The first month is really busy, so hopefully the weather will improve and I will get plenty of track time and be well prepared for the TT as I have some unfinished business there after machine issues in 2015.

“The TT is the main event and always top of my priority list and I would love to race the Fireblade there again as it is an excellent bike, but I need more financial help to run it.

“Another priority for this season is my RS250 GP Honda that I would like to get on track more with a view to getting a top result at the Ulster Grand Prix,” he added.

“They are expensive to run and the only real way to achieve this is with a title sponsor, so if anyone out there would like to step-in, please get in touch.

“I want to thank all my sponsors, big and small, trade and personal, who have stayed on board for the season ahead. I love racing motorbikes and I’m looking forward to racing on the roads in 2016. We’re getting there and our plans are coming together.”
