Easter start for 2026 motorcycling season in Northern Ireland as nine-round calendar confirmed

The 2026 Irish motorcycling season will officially blast off in April following confirmation of next season’s Ulster Superbike Championship calendar.

A nine-round series will get under way at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit in Co Down over the Easter weekend on Saturday, April 4, when Lisburn’s Carl Phillip will be aiming to defend the title he won for the second time this year.

The action switches to Kirkistown on the Ards peninsula for the traditional Easter Monday meeting before Bishopscourt hosts round three a few weeks later on April 18.

There is then a significant break until two successive round at Kirkistown on June 6 and June 20 before a two-day meeting at Bishopscourt from July 18-19.

It’s back to Kirkistown on September 5 for round seven with the penultimate round then taking place at Bishopscourt from September 19-20.

The season finale will be the Sunflower Trophy races at Bishopscourt from October 23-24, where reigning USBK champion Phillips will be out to defend the prestigious trophy, which he won for the first time in October.
