'Part of the Tandragee 100 family' - Warm praise for passionate road racing fans and loyal title sponsors of famous Irish road race

The title sponsors of the Tandragee 100 have been hailed as “part of the family” at the Co Armagh road after more than two decades of commitment.

Gerard and Siobhan Rice, owners of Around A Pound, have been key backers of the race since 2005.

Last year, the Tandragee 100 made a welcome return to the Irish road racing calendar for the first time since 2022 and the race has retained its June slot this year, taking place from June 26-27.

Michael Dunlop was a double winner last year as the 33-time Isle of Man TT winner returned to the event for the first time since 2013, while Cork’s Mike Browne doubled up in the Supersport races.

Ballymoney’s Darryl Tweed was also among the winners after a thrilling last-lap battle with Michael Sweeney in the Supertwin race.

Fans were treated to close racing across all the classes and can look forward to more of the same this summer when Around A Pound will once again lend their support to one of the country’s most famous road races, which takes place around the challenging 5.3-mile course.

Event Director, Anne Forsythe, said: “Gerard and Siobhan are more than just sponsors; they are part of the Tandragee 100 family. Their support since 2005 has been a vital pillar for this race.

“They are hands-on supporters who embody the hard-working local spirit that defines this region, they represent the very best of our local business community.

“Their support is a vital boost in securing the resources needed to run an event of this scale.”

A statement issued on behalf of Gerard and Siobhan Rice, who are also personal sponsors of Dunlop and Sweeney, said they were “proud” to continue their longstanding support of the event.

It read: “We have always been passionate about road racing and the incredible community that surrounds it. Having been involved as sponsors since 2005, we have seen firsthand how much.

“This event means to the local area and the fans who travel from across the world to witness it. We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with the North Armagh Club and can’t wait to see the bikes back on the 5.3-mile circuit in June 2026.”
