Tandragee 100: Friday racing postponed and delay to qualifying as police called to deal with unruly spectator

The Tandragee 100 organisers have confirmed that two scheduled races on Friday evening have been postponed due to limited time in the schedule and low sun.

A non-championship Supersport race and Senior Support race were due to run after qualifying.

There was also a delay to the remainder of qualifying because of an unruly spectator, with police tasked to assist marshals.

A decision to call off the Junior Support and Lightweight qualifying sessions was made shortly after 8:30pm, with low sun causing safety concerns.

An announcement on any changes to Saturday’s schedule is due in the morning.

Mike Browne, a double Supersport winner in 2025, claimed pole in qualifying on the BPE by Russell Racing Yamaha from Michael Dunlop (MD Racing Ducati).

Browne also recorded the fastest ever Supersport qualifying lap around the 5.3-mile course in Co Armagh at 107.096mph to lead Dunlop by 0.455s.

Brett McCallen topped the times in the Senior Support class on his Kawasaki 636.

Dunlop secured pole for the Open and Tandragee 100 races on his MD Racing BMW, recording the fastest lap ever in qualifying at 110.076mph to lead Browne (MB Racing/Russell Racing Honda) by 0.413s.

It is hoped to run the non-championship Supersport and Senior Support races on Saturday, when roads will close from 9:30am, reopening no later than 7pm.
