Sam Davies kicked 17 points as Ospreys came back from a poor first-half performance to seal a crucial Guinness Pro12 win over Edinburgh at the Liberty Stadium.

Sam Underhill and Scott Otten scored tries while Davies added five penalties and a conversion in a 27-13 win.

Edinburgh’s points all came in the first half, with a try for prop Allan Dell and eight points form the boot of full-back Greig Tonks.

Dan Lydiate made his first Ospreys appearance since New Year’s Day after being released from the Wales squad along with James King and Aaron Jarvis.

Edinburgh made four changes from the team beaten narrowly by Scarlets last week.

In spite of being under pressure at the scrum and outplayed territorially for large periods, Ospreys managed to go in at half-time level at 13-13. Edinburgh were not helped that Tonks missed two of his four penalty goal shots.
