The South African turns 30 in October and is entering the final year of his contract with Ulster and is teaming up with the students with a view of enhancing his career prospects when he eventually hangs up his boots.

“IRUPA introduced me to Queen’s and the programme is to give me more experience about this type of thing, especially after rugby,” added Ludik.
“As we know unfortunately rugby doesn’t last forever and you have to think about things, so I’m very excited.”
