Special trains put on by Translink for Let's Rock Bangor

Special trains announced by Translink for Let's Rock! Bangor.

The event takes place at Ward Park in Bangor on Saturday, 6th August.

Late night shuttle train services will operate from Bangor Station to Lanyon Place station after the concert, from approximately 10.45pm to 11.45pm.

Translink’s Head of Rail Customer Services Hilton Parr said: “We are running special trains for the Let’s Rock! concert to ensure our passengers can travel to and from the concert without the hassle of having to drive and park.

    “Tickets are great value at £10 and are available to buy online on the Translink website: www.translink.co.uk/special-events/letsrock

    Passengers can also purchase a special late night return ticket from Lanyon Place or from a conductor on the Bangor line on the day of travel”.

    What is Let's Rock Bangor!

    According to organisers the event will "bring you the very best of the 80s, and an action packed day of general 80s madness, there is plenty to do for everyone at this Family Friendly Festival!".

    It adds: "With a fabulous line-up of artists to bring you the very best of the 80s, and an action packed day of general 80s madness, there is plenty to do for everyone at this Family Friendly Festival!"

    They add: "CAR PARKING – There will be ample FREE parking for the event below at Valentines Playing Fields, Valentine Road, BT20"

    Who is performing at Let's Rock Bangor!

    According to their website the performing artists include: Adam Ant, Wet Wet Wet, Howard Jones, Belinda Carlisle, Sister Sledge and T'PAU.

    How much are tickets?

    According to the site -

    *children under 3 years are free

    * adult ticket for Tier 3 is £46.20

    * VIP ticket for Tier 4 is £165.00

    * Posh Loo tickets are £22.00 (does not include entry)
