Hop aboard the Easter Eggspress

You’ll be greeted by the bouncing Easter Bunny and made comfortable on board the wonderful steam train.

With fun for all the family and, of course, lots of yummy Easter eggs for those egg-cellently behaved little ones, it’s a trip that you won’t want to miss out on.

Join the steam train adventure at Whitehead Railway Museum and even refuel the little ones at the fabulous Edwardian Tearoom, serving a whole host of delicious traybakes, tasty lunches and heart-warming drinks. The fun doesn’t end here, with a traditional Easter treasure hunt for the children, they’ll be entertained all day.

This vintage experience offers families a new tradition to add to their Easter celebrations. Grandparents and parents may remember the magic that is felt when hopping aboard a steam train and hearing the hissings and whistling of the locomotive. Now they get to share it with all the family. Hop along and make a new Easter tradition with Whitehead Railway Museum this year.

There will be two trains running twice daily on Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday, you’ll be sure to find a time that suits you.
