March madness, Belfast Zoo, throughout March On Sunday March 15, there will be a snake “meet and greet” in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Visitors are invited to get up close and personal with the zoo’s three royal python snakes, Susie, Sasha and Linus. George the bearded dragon and Sanchez the leopard gecko will also be making an appearance. Mother’s Day is also just round the corner on Sunday March 22 and a family trip to the zoo is the perfect way to say thank you to that special someone. Touched by Time, Flowerfield Arts Centre Portstewart, until March 28 Touched by Time is a print, pastels and mixed media exhibition by artist Rosella Watton Austin, whose unique artwork features strong, bold colours and an ethereal quality. Rosella has exhibited widely throughout Ireland, London, Tokyo and Canada. Her work has been auctioned at the prestigious Sotheby’s, she won the Bass Ireland Contemporary Art Award in 2002.
