Inspire, Island Arts Centre Lisburn, until March 31 ‘Inspire’ is a group of artists who meet to create work at Island Arts Centre on a weekly basis and they currently have an exhibition of beautiful paintings which runs until Saturday March 7. Comprising of Margaret Brand, Barbara Ellison, Joan Kingan, Margaret Mathews, Blanche Pepper and Kate Rocks, the Inspire exhibition showcases a wide spectrum of styles and vision in celebration of ten years of creativity. This exhibition celebrates 10 years of the painting group ‘Inspire’ and includes landscape, portraits and still life paintings. Exhibitions are free to visit and ISLAND Arts Centre is open from 9.30am-10pm Mon-Fri and Sat from 9.30am-5pm.

Family Fun Day, Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre Ballymoney, February 23 The free event, which has been organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Sports Development team, features a range of activities including inclusive cycling, wheelchair sports and boccia. Silent Light, Mussenden Temple, until February 23 Visitors will be steeped in the landscape. Embarking on a silent walk to Mussenden Temple which sits perched at the edge of a 120ft cliff overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean. Exposed. Yet protective. Within the Temple, an installation of the artist’s ‘Stained Moons’ artwork awaits. The viewings will take place in silence and in darkness, after twilight.
