Belfast film studio offers free access to co-working space
New Belfast creative hub Pancake Studios is offering free access to its co-working space, as the recently-opened facility looks to connect with the city's growing creative community.

The initiative gives like-minded creatives the opportunity to trial the studios at Limestone Road for one day at no cost, with co-working desks available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the remainder of June.
The sessions are open to anyone working in – or aspiring to work in – the creative industries, from filmmakers to podcasters, photographers to writers, and everything in between.

Pancake Studios, which opened earlier this year, is a multi-functional hub that features a 10,000sq ft film production studio, podcast and audio facilities, rehearsal rooms, flexible hot desks and meeting spaces.
Christian Gerring, Founder of Pancake Studios, said: “Northern Ireland has an enormous amount of creative talent – people with real ability, real ambition and real stories to tell. What has been missing, for too long, is a space to support them and keep them here. Pancake Studios was built to be part of the answer to that.”
“We’re delighted to offer this free access, which is designed to lower the barrier to entry for creatives who may not yet have had the opportunity to experience a professional studio environment. We also hope to inspire collaborative work and build a supportive community around them.”
“Whatever your specialty is, come in, use the co-working space, and see what happens when you're surrounded by other people who are doing the same. Some of the best creative work comes out of unexpected conversations in a shared space.”
Places are limited and subject to availability. Individuals are encouraged to reserve a desk in advance by emailing [email protected].
