Hit the North Street Art Festival Transforms The Linen Quarter

The Linen Quarter has benefitted from a fresh lick of paint as one of Europe’s most respected and longest running street art festivals returned to the city this past weekend. Organised by Seedhead Arts, the 2026 Hit the North StreetArt Festival featured more than 50 muralists, including an exciting wave of homegrown talent. Now in its 13th year, the festival has become a signature cultural event, empowering artists and transforming buildings and public spaces through contemporary mural art. Supported by LQ BID, the Linen Quarter provided five backdrops for artists to let their artistic flairs flow, with the results enhancing the District’s streetscape by adding colour and creativity.
