Northern Ireland First as National Brick Events Takes Over Coleraine
National Brick Events will make its Northern Ireland debut in Coleraine this October with three major firsts - its first event in Northern Ireland, its first-ever two-day event and its first staged across a number of locations.
Coleraine is preparing to become a brick-building haven for families, collectors and LEGO® enthusiasts when National Brick Events arrives in the town on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026.
And this will be no ordinary stop on the National Brick Events calendar.
The Coleraine weekend will mark the organisation's first-ever event in Northern Ireland, in fact its first on the island of Ireland. Running from 9am to 4pm each day, the event will take over Coleraine Leisure Centre, Coleraine Town Hall and the Event Space Marquee, creating a huge celebration of all things brick right in the heart of the town.
Visitors can expect an impressive collection of fan-built displays and creations, alongside specialist traders selling everything from rare and retired sets to minifigures, accessories and more.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to get hands-on, with activities for younger builders – and the grown-ups who won't be able to resist joining in.
Among the familiar faces taking part will be local LEGO® celebrity DJ the LEGO Man, adding some home-grown brick-building talent to the weekend.
Brought to the town by Coleraine Connect, the National Brick Event forms part of an even bigger celebration taking place throughout October, with Coleraine embracing all things LEGO® as part of The Great Coleraine Build.
Follow the Bricks….and You Could Be Heading to LEGOLAND®!
Visitors coming to Coleraine for the National Brick Event can make a full day, or weekend of it by heading into the town centre to take part in the FREE Bricks Fairytale Trail.
Running throughout October, the trail features 13 spectacular brick-built fairytale models hidden in businesses around Coleraine town centre.
Families can follow the trail, discover all 13 models and collect a letter at each stop. Put the letters together, solve the two-word mystery anagram and enter the competition for the chance to win an incredible family trip to LEGOLAND® Windsor.
The prize, in collaboration with JF Travel, is for a family of four and includes flights, two nights at the LEGOLAND® Hotel and LEGOLAND® Windsor park passes. Terms and conditions apply.
It means families visiting Coleraine on 17 and 18 October can enjoy the National Brick Event, explore the town, hunt for the 13 fairytale creations and potentially turn one brick-filled weekend into another unforgettable family adventure at LEGOLAND® Windsor.
National Brick Events and The Great Coleraine Build are brought to you by Coleraine Connect.
