Northern Ireland urged to get behind ElastiK° Skin in global beauty awards public vote
People across Northern Ireland are being encouraged to get behind homegrown skincare brand ElastiK° Skin as it competes for two titles at the prestigious Pure Beauty Awards 2026.

The Millisle-based skincare start-up, founded by entrepreneur and health and lifestyle creator Marc McKee, has been named a finalist in Best New Indie Brand, while its 234-LED Face and Neck Mask is a finalist in Best Tool or Device.
With public voting now open and running until Friday 18 September, Marc is calling on people across Northern Ireland to cast their votes and help the young brand make its mark on the global beauty stage.
The Pure Beauty Awards celebrate innovation and excellence across the international beauty industry. This year marks the awards’ 25th anniversary, with the Pure Beauty Awards UK and Pure Beauty Global Awards coming together as one international programme.
Marc said: “The response since the finalist announcement has been incredible and I’m hugely grateful for all the support ElastiK° Skin has received.
“To be named a finalist in two categories just months after launching was already a major milestone for us. There are two winners in each category – a Judges’ Choice selected by an industry panel and a Readers’ Vote decided by the public – so having the opportunity for people to get behind us and help decide the Readers’ Vote makes this next stage particularly exciting.
“We’re a young, independent Northern Ireland business competing on an international stage, so I’d love people here at home to get behind us. Every vote genuinely counts and it would mean so much to have that support.”
ElastiK° Skin launched in April 2026 and was developed following Marc’s own nine-stone transformation and the experiences shared by the online community he subsequently built.
The skincare range was created with the changing needs of skin during significant weight loss in mind, focusing on concerns including hydration, firmness and elasticity.
Marc’s wider My Journey With Marc platform has grown to more than 450,000 followers and generated over 100 million organic views, while his This Is My Journey podcast has reached listeners in 102 countries and 1,935 cities.
The awards recognition comes during a period of rapid growth for ElastiK° Skin. The business achieved Innovate NI Gold Level Innovator status in July and has continued to expand its skincare range in response to customer feedback. It currently sells directly to customers in more than 30 countries, with further product development planned for 2027.
Marc added: “ElastiK° Skin was born from my own experience and from listening to what people going through significant transformation were telling me they needed.
“We’re still at the very beginning of the journey, so to have that recognised by the beauty industry and now have the opportunity for the public to support us is incredibly special.
“If you’ve followed my journey, supported ElastiK° Skin or simply want to get behind a Northern Ireland business taking on the global beauty market, I’d be incredibly grateful for your vote.”
Voting in the Pure Beauty Awards 2026 closes on Friday 18 September.
