Fashion is getting a fresh spin this season as wash day meets runway at Victoria Square’s upcoming Spring/Summer fashion show.
It’s out with the old and on with the show, as fashionistas are invited to step into Laundry Lane, the leading shopping destination’s latest fashion show concept.
Inspired by the ritual of spring cleaning, Laundry Lane will transform the everyday launderette into a space of reinvention where statement pieces are refreshed, and new style is hung out to air.
Styled by Cool FM’s Rebecca McKinney and Victoria Square Personal shopper Taylor Armstrong, Laundry Lane will take the audience on a spin-sational journey through Victoria Square’s SS26 collection on a runway designed to reimagine the sights, sounds, and textures of a classic laundrette.
The bold and playful runway experience will be the perfect blend of everyday casual and elevated spring looks as Laundry Lane showcases a collection guaranteed to get every fashionista’s wardrobe into a spin.
Commenting ahead of the event, Michelle Greeves, centre manager, Victoria Square said: “Spring cleaning is about renewal - clearing out the old, refreshing what we keep, and starting the season feeling revitalised.
“Our new Laundry Lane fashion show concept will celebrate this ritual, showcasing key pieces that will transform your wardrobe this season on a catwalk deigned to remind us that even the simplest routines can spark creativity and a fresh sense of style.
“Whether you are joining us for the fashion, the beauty, or just for the atmosphere, Laundry Lane will inspire you to clear out your closet and step into something new.”
Before the runway begins, guests can take a spin through The Beauty Cycle, an interactive pre-show space designed to take you from fresh-faced to fully finished.
With four immersive zones inspired by the washing machine cycle, guests can cleanse, hydrate, glow and set with products from leading beauty brands - the perfect way to discover new favourites, receive expert advice, and enjoy exclusive samples.
Laundry Lane takes place on Friday 17th April, with two shows at 6pm and 7:30pm. Tickets cost £20 and include entry to The Beauty Cycle and a £10 Victoria Square gift card.
