Rally around Coleraine FC, East Londonderry UUP urges community
The East Londonderry Ulster Unionist Party Association has called on the entire community to rally around Coleraine FC in wishing the team every success for Saturday coming’s prestigious Irish Cup Final against Dungannon Swifts at Windsor Park.
Speaking on behalf of the East Londonderry UUP, Association Secretary Glen Miller said: “Coleraine FC has once again brought great honour to the region by reaching the final of this prestigious football competition and we wish the team every success for Saturday.
“Whilst we are in a cost of living crisis and a fuel price crisis, Coleraine FC has given us all in East Londonderry a tremendous boost by reaching the final. Hopefully, the team can go a stage further and win this historic trophy.
“We in the East Londonderry UUP Association also wish the team and fans safe travelling to and from Windsor Park on Saturday. This region has a great sporting reputation across various sports, and we all know how much a win would lift the spirits of folk in these challenging times.
“That’s why we are urging the community to rally around the club in these great days for local football,” said Mr Miller.
