Tony Walls Workers Party Representative has called on Translink to clarify the reasons why all the toilets were blocked in this Brand New Building.

Mr Walls said he was contacted by a number of people saying that all of the toilets were out of use and part of the concourse was blocked off while work was being carried out. Several said this didn’t look like an ordinary unblocking of toilets or a standard plumbing job. Mr walls said the public need to know if this is a just teething problems, or if it is a problem with the sewerage system, or a design fault.

The Workers Party will be writing to Translink and the Department seeking an explanation, given that this is a newly opened facility that was built with public money, and we are constantly hearing about defects in other building projects that have cost billions to the public purse. Mr Walls ended by saying I sincerely hope this is nothing more than teething problems , but major issues such as the complete blockage of toilets would seem to be something more serious. Passengers were inconvenienced by the lack of toilet and are concerned that is may become an ongoing problem.
