Kane secures Kew Bridge deal valued at £24 million

Banbridge company, Kane, will deliver the Design & Build MEP installation of phase one and two at Kew Bridge development in Brentford, situated close to the new Brentford FC Community Stadium.

With a combined value of £24 million, both phases will each take 17 months to complete and are currently in progress.

Awarded by EcoWorld, both phases will consist of the new build construction of 509 apartments for private rent tenure. The apartments will be contained within five blocks ranging in height between 12 and 15 storeys complete with ground floor concealed car parks.

The Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) requirements will be served from site-specific energy centres containing Combined Heating and Power (CHP) unit and gas fired boilers which will be manufactured off-site at Kane’s prefabrication facility.

Cathal McMullan, managing director, Kane, said: “We at Kane are looking forward to delivering a superior M&E project for our new client, EcoWorld, while building a long-lasting collaborative relationship. Our in-house design and prefabrication teams will showcase our ability in delivering off-site construction solutions in the high-rise residential market”.

Kane also has offices in London, Glasgow and Ireland and employs 200 staff.
