NI CountrySports Fair '˜back with a bang' at Scarvagh House

The NI CountrySports Fair welcomed families, country sports enthusiasts and thousands of competitors over the weekend (28th-29th May) to Scarvagh House, Banbridge.

Over 18,000 visitors, 150 exhibitors and 1,000 competitors enjoyed the fun-filled weekend. Guests were treated to a number of ‘firsts’ for the event including seeing the World’s First Ferret Grand National, a Country and Western concert featuring country stars such as Richie Remo and a charity Donkey Derby.

In speaking about 2016’s Fair, Event Director, Derek Lutton said: “Every year we want to give our visitors something new to enjoy; having moved to Scarvagh House last year we have really settled into our new home.

“We continue to build on our visitor numbers and exhibitor bookings, and of course bringing new and exciting attractions to the event. The atmosphere over the entire weekend was fantastic and we look forward to 2017.”
