Northern Ireland technology company strengthens leadership team with senior appointment
New head of global client acquisition at Vyta has more than two decades of experience spanning enterprise technology, innovation and entrepreneurship
Northern Ireland technology company Vyta has appointed Joanne O’Doherty as head of global client acquisition as it continues to expand its international operations.

O’Doherty joins the company’s C-suite with more than 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, having held roles with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Dell and co-founded technology company Kinsetsu.
Her experience spans customer-focused leadership, business growth, innovation and product-market fit, with a particular focus on using customer insight to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Throughout her career, O’Doherty has championed human-centred approaches to customer experience, alongside the use of data and technology to improve product value, resource efficiency and sustainability.
In her new role, she will lead and develop Vyta’s business development teams across the UK and Europe, focusing on building strategic relationships with multinational organisations and securing and expanding large-scale enterprise opportunities.
She will also help shape and deliver the company’s international business development strategy, including its efforts to secure global accounts, enter new territories and strengthen relationships with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
O’Doherty joins Vyta at a key stage in its development as the company continues to grow its international footprint and sees increasing demand for secure, sustainable and responsible IT lifecycle solutions.
Her appointment brings together enterprise technology experience and entrepreneurial leadership as Vyta looks to build long-term relationships with global organisations and strengthen its position in international markets.
O’Doherty’s focus on sustainability also aligns with Vyta’s long-standing approach to IT lifecycle management, which aims to help organisations improve efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of their technology.
