SSE Airtricity acquires 50% of Fusion Heating

Fusion Heating has been in business for over 10 years and employs almost 70 people working out of its base at Castlereagh, Co. Down, including gas engineers, plumbers, electricians and joiners.

Fusion works with both private and public sector customers to install, service and repair gas and oil central heating boilers and systems. The company also offers full domestic electrical contracting services, and is also involved in the supply and fit-out of bathrooms.

In 2013 Fusion Heating was selected to work as SSE Airtricity’s delivery partner for its growing SSE Airtricity Energy Services brand. The acquisition complements and enhances SSE Airtricity’s services in the competitive energy markets for home and business customers, and further cements the company’s position as a leading provider of energy services. The existing Fusion Heating management team will continue to lead the business.
