'Stay tuned': Northern Ireland’s first The North Face store to open this week
The internationally recognised outdoor brand will open its first standalone Northern Ireland store at Victoria Square on September 10
Outdoor clothing giant The North Face is set to open its first standalone store in Northern Ireland this week, with the opening date now confirmed.
The internationally recognised brand will open its doors at Victoria Square Shopping Centre in Belfast on Thursday, September 10, marking its Northern Ireland debut.
The new store will be located on the lower ground floor of the city centre shopping destination and represents another first for Victoria Square.
The Belfast shopping centre confirmed the news on social media, having previously teased the arrival of the outdoor brand after hoarding featuring The North Face branding appeared at the site in July.
Announcing the opening date on social media, Victoria Square said: “Save the date, Thursday 10th September 2026. The North Face is opening at Victoria Square – the first store to open in Northern Ireland.”
They added: “Stay tuned for more.”

The North Face already has standalone stores across England, Scotland and Wales, but until now has had no dedicated store in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.
Work on the new Belfast outlet has been carried out by Dundonald-based contractor Somerville Fit-Out, which was appointed to deliver the project.
When the fit-out was first announced in July, Somerville said it was “proud to be delivering the fit-out for The North Face’s first premium store in Northern Ireland”.
