Buddy is an adorable 11 year old Lhasa Apso who loves people and is looking for the perfect home for his golden years. Buddy has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and has been responding well to management medications, but this will be a lifelong condition that a new family will need to consider. When he first arrived, Buddy had a few pounds to lose to make him more comfortable and his foster mum has done a wonderful job building up his stamina. He happily walks just over half a mile twice a day and will need a home that will continue to help him build his muscles but will work with him at his own pace. # He currently lives with two lively dogs so could be homed with new canine companions following meets. Buddy absolutely adores his food and will let you know when dinner time is getting near! He will need to eat his dinner away from other dogs as given the chance he will help himself to theirs to He is happy to be left at home for short periods and is housetrained. Buddy is a sweet, funny character that is sure to bring a smile to your face! Photo: Dogs trust
Cobie is a 6-year-old friendly, quiet and gentle boy with little known history. He is a beautiful Rough Collie with such a great personality that has all the staff and his foster carers charmed by him! He is looking for an adult only home or a home with sensible secondary school aged children. He interacts nicely with other dogs when out and about on walks so long as there are no treats involved as he does not like the idea of having to share his food. We believe Cobie would be best suited to being the only pet in the home. Cobie's adopters will need to be able to be at home with him at least for the first few weeks to help him get settled into his new environment and routine. Photo: Dogs Trust
