'˜I love my garden'
Vera Mulligan adores her garden and, since her retirement from work and looking after four grandchildren, really enjoys working in the garden which was designed by Daisy Hill Nurseries in 1976.
She said: ‘‘I love springtime when there is lots of colour, bulbs, azaleas, rhododendron, etc.’’ But at the moment, Vera said she is kept busy raking up leaves.
‘‘I love the palm trees, foxglove, hot lips, and more.’’
