Anyone with a taste for the exotic but without the budget to match might be able to live the dream a little this week as a number of high end, seized assets go under the hammer.

The 24-hour online auction, with lots including a gyrocopter, fishing boat, Rolex watch and designer jewellery, is being hosted by Wilsons.

Bidding opens on Thursday (October 22) and will begin to time out at 2pm the following day.

Other eyecatching items up for grabs include shoes and accessories from luxury brands Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and Valentino, and the cryptocurrency Bitcoin.

All of the lots were seized by law enforcement and other government agencies, and all proceeds from the sale are returned to the public purse.
