Man arrested under Terrorism Act by detectives investigating murder of Lyra McKee
A 27-year-old man has been arrested by Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of journalist Lyra McKee.
He was arrested in Londonderry this morning under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
A PSNI statement added that the suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station in Belfast where he is currently being questioned.
They added that a search of a house in Londonderry has also been conducted.
