PSNI are treating fire at Duke Street flat in east Belfast as arson attack
Police believe that flammable liquid was poured through a letterbox in an arson attack on an east Belfast flat.
Detectives are appealing for information following the arson attack in the early hours of this morning, Monday 20 April.

A PSNI spokesperson said they received a report at 2.20am that a flat was on fire in the Duke Street area.
When they arrived, police found that Firefighters were already there and had extinguished the blaze.
“Thankfully, no one was inside the property at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported,” police said.
“At this time we are treating this report as arson. One line of enquiry we’re exploring is that accelerant was believed to have been put through a letterbox."
Police enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who may be able to assist with the investigation to contact them on 101, quoting reference 72 20/04/26.
