PSNI detectives charge man to court after report of kidnapping in Londonderry
PSNI detectives who were investigating a report of a kidnapping in Londonderry have charged a man to court.
Detectives at Strand Road were investigating a reported kidnapping in the Northland Terrace area of the city on 1 October 2025.
The man, aged 31, has been charged with a number of offences including kidnap, false imprisonment, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, burglary and theft.
He is expected to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Friday 27 February.
