Street near north Belfast school shut by police as suspicious object found
A street in north Belfast has been cordoned off by police.
Eia Street in north Belfast, which runs behind Belfast Royal Academy, is closed at its junction with Brookhill Avenue.
It follows what police say is the discovery of a suspicious object this afternoon.
A number of homes have been advised to evacuate.
The PSNI advice is to seek an alternative route for your journey.
