Trio including teenage female charged after car stop nets suspected drug haul in Co Londonderry village
Three people have been charged with drugs-releated offences after a car stop in Co Londonderry.
The trio were detained after police halted a car in the village of Magheramason, south of Newbuildings.
Those charged are two men aged 24 and 28 and a 19-year-old woman.
They will appear before Londonderry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Earlier in the day, the PSNI said officers had “seized suspected Class A drugs with an estimated street value of £25,000” in relation to the incident.
They said that a patrol in the Victoria Road “were alerted to a vehicle, which was overtaking cars”, and they pulled it over in the village.
