Funeral of crash victim Lorraine Clyde taking place in Antrim

The funeral of one of two care workers killed in Monday's horrific road crash outside Randalstown is taking place in Antrim.

Lorraine Clyde, 56, who was from the Antrim area, died following the accident on Church Road outside Randalstown shortly before 8am.

Michelle McStravick, 35, from Randalstown, also died in the crash, She was buried yesterday at St MacNissi’s Church in Randalstown,

Both women had been working as care assistants.

Mrs Clyde was well-known as a patrol lady for St Comgall’s Primary School in Antrim.

The pair had been travelling in a grey coloured Citroen C1 car which was in collision with a silver coloured Ford Focus at the Moneyrod Road junction.

Mrs Clyde’s funeral is taking place at St Comgall’s Church in Antrim.
