In pictures - Storm Henry hits Northern Ireland

These are the pictures that show Storm Henry hitting the north coast today with full force.

By late afternoon Monday, winds in excess of 70mph had been recorded at Malin Head, 69mph at Magilligan and almost 70mph at Castlederg.

The north coast and the north west of the province bore the full brunt of the storm.

The Met Office yellow warning for gales, up to 80mph on the north coast, remains valid until 10am on Tuesday morning, but the winds will remain strong until later on Tuesday evening.
