Man injured during aggravated burglary

A gang of three men, one carrying a hammer, threatened the young man at the Alliance Road property around 9.50pm on Monday 24 April, before assaulting him.

The men then made off in a silver coloured car in the direction of Deerpark Road.

A 25-year-old woman who was also in the house at the time was not injured.

Detective Constable Gourley is appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity on Alliance Road around the time of this incident or anyone with any information to contact detectives at Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number 1264 of 24/04/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
