Man ‘lost his life at scene of motorcycle crash’
A man has died following a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Co Down on Thursday.
The crash happened on the Spa Road near Ballynahinch on Thursday afternoon.
In a statement released by the PSNI in the early hours of Friday, Inspector Brian Mills said: “At around 1:10pm, it was reported a motorcyclist left the road and tragically lost his life at the scene. The road remains closed at this time and motorists are advised to seek alternative main routes for their journey.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and captured the incident on their dash cam to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 990 16/04/20.”
