Man suffered gunshot wounds in Dublin murder

A man found dead in south Dublin had sustained gunshot wounds.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was discovered at Hills Lane in Tallaght on Sunday morning.

Gardai attended the scene shortly after 9am following a report from a member of the public.

The area has been sealed off and the office of the state pathologist has been informed.

A Garda technical team will carry out a forensic examination.

Gardai have appealed for anyone who noticed anything unusual in the area overnight or early Sunday to come forward.
