Masked men armed with sledgehammers force way into Larne house
Police in Larne are appealing for information after masked men, armed with sledgehammers, forced their way into the house in the town.
The incident occurred in the Garron Walk area around 2am on Sunday morning (February 19). Police said the men caused substantial damage to the property and a man in his 30s suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Detective Constable Gardiner has appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident or who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives in Larne on 101 quoting reference number 167 19/02/17.
