Methodist Synod concern for vulnerable

Members of Belfast Synod of the Methodist church have told of their concern 'for the most vulnerable individuals and families in our society who shall be affected by the impending closure of FASA'.

The Belfast Synod spoke out after news of the suspension of operations of FASA (Forum for Action on Substance Abuse).

The Belfast Synod of the Methodist church further called for “elected representatives and government bodies to work together with statutory agencies and other bodies to ensure that those affected are provided with appropriate and necessary help”.”
