Motorcyclist seriously injured in Belfast

A motorcyclist is seriously ill in hospital after being involved in a serious collision with a car in north Belfast.

It occurred in the Donegall Park Avenue area on Thursday evening, 4 February, Just before 9.45pm.

The two vehicle collision was between a green Peugeot motorcycle and a silver Mercedes car.

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are currently described as serious.

The PSNI appealed to anyone who may have seen the motorbike or car in the area to contact Tennent Street Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
